Maritza Valle (She/Her and They/Them) is a former LPC who learned, trained, and practiced as an LPC and soon-to-be LPC- Supervisor, and has chosen no longer to practice according the the restrictive and oppressive standards she saw inherent under Texas licensure. Instead, following ancestral practices and integrating her experience and expertise in divesting from oppression, Maritza now practices Curanderismo.
As a Curandera, Maritza conducts sessions online via the zoom platform where she uses her decades of experience, education, and empathic practice to help clients locate and solve their solvable problems from an empowered, justice-oriented, intersectional lens that normalizes needs and looks for ways to meet needs while ending oppression, exploitation, abuse and violence both in intimate and non-intimate spheres.
